Chandra, a Senior Partner at Chandler & Georges, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). Prior to co-founding Chandler & Georges, Chandra was senior management with one of the ‘big four’. He has over 30 years experience in providing Assurance and Tax services to individuals and businesses in a range of different industries, both in the UK and internationally.

Chandra provides strategic direction to Chandler & Georges, monitors quality and acts as Lead Engagement Partner on specialist engagements.

His recent and specialist engagements have included:

• Acting as executor / advisor for a High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) on an inheritance tax engagement;
• Investment advice to Middle-East based clients on acquisitions in the Middle-East;
• Successfully defending / negotiating with HM Revenue & Customs on international tax structuring matters for a non-resident HNWI;
• Providing advice on offshore structuring and remittances for non-domicile individuals;
• Advising international clients on tax matters with regards to their investment assets in the UK ; and
• Management Consultancy to Middle-East based companies.

John, a Senior Partner at Chandler & Georges, is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Prior to co-founding Chandler & Georges, John was senior management with one of the ‘big four’. He has over 30 years experience in providing Assurance and Tax services to individuals and businesses in range of different industries including:

• Hospitality and related industries including restaurants, hoteliers, and travel agents;
• Estate agents;
• Ship builders;
• Lawyers; and
• Property developers and investors.

He currently acts as consultant on specialist engagements.

Alex, a Tax and Specialist Engagement Partner at Chandler & Georges, is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants (FCA) with the ICAEW, with over 15 years of experience in general practice and tax advisory.

He has added value to clients through his extensive technical knowledge and practical expertise.

His recent value added tax strategies have included:

• Business incorporation;
• Offshore business / individual tax structuring and advisory for non-residents / non-domicile;
• International tax structuring for HNWI;
• Inheritance tax planning and advisory;
• UK / International group structuring;
• Capital Gains Tax advisory on international and UK held assets; and
• International and UK transfer pricing.

Alex is also involved in providing compliance services to individuals and businesses including statutory filing, VAT, Pay As You Earn / National Insurance.

His experience in numerous tax / VAT investigation engagements continue to yield successful defence of clients / negotiations with HM Revenue & Customs.

Alex's breadth and depth of tax knowledge continues to provide tax advantages to Chandler & Georges as a firm and its Partners.

His recent and specialist engagements have included:

• Audits of subsidiary group companies for large international listed client. Assisting in providing strategic soundboard for re-located UK based Finance Director.
• Audit of pension scheme for major international Airline.
• Financial due diligence in support of large investment for new start up within the banking sector.
• FSA registrations for new start ups, preparation of initial cash flow projections and ongoing assistance for regulatory requirements.
• Pre-lending reviews for new start up within the telecommunication sector.

Panos, an Accounting & Assurance Partner at Chandler & Georges, is an ACA with the ICAEW, with over nine years of experience in providing Accounting & Assurance services. Prior to joining Chandler & Georges Panos was with one of the leading mid-tier firms.

Panos has been the lead on Accounting & Assurance services engagements to businesses in a range of industries including:

• Solicitors;
• Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG);
• Charities;
• Clubs;
• Nurseries;
• Restaurants / Hotels;
• Estate agents;
• Investment companies;
• Telecommunication companies; and
• Internet based companies.

Panos's recent engagements have included:

• Developing systems and controls for a FMCG start-up;
• Developing systems and controls for a fast growing e-tailer;
• Statutory audit of a nursery with numerous branches;
• Statutory audit of a prestigious tennis club;
• Developing specific tailored internal audit system for various clients;
• Preparation of group financial statements compliant with the Companies Act and appropriate Accounting Standards;

Ashfaq heads the Value Added Services team at Chandler & Georges, has a Masters in Business Administration from one of UK's top business schools, and is an ACA with the ICAEW. Ashfaq has approximately five years of experience working with one of the ‘big four’ and Chandler & Georges in transaction and business advisory services.

His technical and practical experience in business consultancy and transaction based work has been instrumental in the development, growth and success of clients in various industries.

Ashfaq's engagements have included:

• Valuations of leasing, cleaning, transportation, and security companies;
• Financial modeling for an FMCG, property development, and a telecommunications company;
• Preparation of Private Placement Memorandum and presentation to potential equity investors for a private investment group;
• Risk analysis for an FMCG;
• Transaction advice on property acquisition / disposals by individuals and companies; and
• Advice on maximizing return on investment to a property investment company;
